Pedro grew up in Lisbon and was reared on an eclectic blend of gospel, classical, jazz and world music. All of these genres have spurred him on to his singularly unique approach to percussion, making him equally at home behind timpani, cajon, and drum kit.
Currently, he leads his own Solo Segundo and Segundo Stanley duo, while touring with Judith Owen alongside Leland Sklar, Kansas Smittys House Band, Julio Resende and recording film soundtracks.
