I am Ragnar Sverrisson from Iceland!
I've been playing drums for over 20 years with various bands such as BENEATH (ICE), VALKYRJA (ICE) and SVARTIDAUaI (ICE). My main band today is the technical death metal band OPHIDIAN I (ICE). I do all songwriting and drums for my blackened death metal band HELFRa“ (ICE) as well as playing live for ABYSSAL (UK).
I have always focused on speed and technicality while trying to bring groove to the table too. I studied at FaH music school for many years before transitioning to studio and live drumming. Check out my bands to hear an example of Icelandic drumming ferocity at it´s peak!
