I can barely remember a time when playing the drums wasn't the center of my life. I started playing professionally at age 16. Five to six nights per week through my last 2 years of high school. Rock music was everything to me during those years (and before) but by 18 Jazz took over, then Latin, Funk and everything in between. Every gig requires something different and that's what keeps me interested and inspired. I love drumming, but the thing that matters most to me is music. It gives the drumming purpose.
