  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

I moved to New York from Chile with the dream of playing the jazz clubs in the city with the idols that inspired me to play this music. I'll never forget my first night with Guillermo Klein's group at Smalls. That night something changed.

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

Listening to my peers and the memory of the music I heard growing up.

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

When I started drumming I asked around about the best sticks and there was only one answer. Vic. If you ask today, you still get the same answer. My favorite instrument is the heritage brushes, I play them since I started and they have never let me down.
