Most Memorable Next-Level Performance?

In 1993 I was asked to replace Steve Hackett's drummer (ex Genesis member) in 2 concerts in Brazil at the last minute and without rehearsing. That day I was forced to put into practice everything I learned as a self-taught musician. But for many years, and to this day, I have always followed Steve's story with Genesis or even in his solo career. That was a very favorable point for me.

What Drives Your Creativity?

I started at the age of 5, listening to Ringo Starr (The Beatles) and even today, I keep dedicating myself to contribute, in the best possible way, to the quality of music in the world. We cannot lose the focus of "good music". It STILL exists and resists!

Why Do You Choose Vic Firth?

Vic Firth was my first partnership as an endorsee in the '80s. To this day, I feel comfortable in my performances and I know that over the years I have influenced, in some way, a series of new drummers simply because I presented them with my pair of drumsticks.
