Started playing drums with formal lessons at the age of 2 and grew up playing at the St. Paul Baptist Church in Sacramento, CA. Played in jazz/marching/concert band, drum line and orchestra/choir from elementary through college. Was blessed to tour in college with many choirs: ensembles on campus at the Azusa Pacific University. Went on to place 4th, 3rd, 2nd respectively at the Guitar Center West Coast Drum Off Regionals and was the Sacramento store winner for 4 years. Toured around the world nationally and internationally with Sly & The Family Stone Stone Band (featuring original members Sly Stone, the late Cynthia Robinson, Jerry Martini, Rose Stone and other notable members Lisa Stone & Vet Stone, Pat Rizzo).
