Stephan œStoppel Eggert started playing drums at the age of 13 in several school bands. After school he studied at Hamburger Musikhochschule under Udo Dahmen. Eggerts first professional jobs were with Umberto Tozzi and Rocko Granata. He started Selig in 1993, working as drummer/composer/producer for acts like Udo Lindenberg, Ricky Martin, Laura Pausini, Carl Douglas, Shea Seger, Alphaville, DJ Egg, Don Disco and Whataman. Eggerts been playing with the James Last Orchestra since 2002, started Zinoba in 2002, Tempeau in 2003, and became a member of Lucifer´s Friend in 2014. He currently works as a recording artist for music, films and theatre.
