Most memorable Next-Level PerformanceI would say, playing with Michael McDonald and a full orchestra for a few concerts. The energy, level of musicianship and groove were off the charts. It was one of those magical moments when you’re wondering, “How am I playing like this?’
What Drives Your Creativity? There are so many incredible drummers that continue to inspire me. Being a producer is something that also drives my creativity. Sometimes when working on a project, even if I’m not playing on it, an idea can be sparked where I’ll have to get to the kit immediately. It’s refreshing to have inspiration to keep you moving forward, trying to climb the musical totem pole.
Why do you choose Vic Firth? No question, Vic Firth products have always been my go-to. They have been an important element to my sound… even as a kid! So, as I progressed in my career and was able to become an artist, it was a no brainer! I’m honored to be a part of such a prestigious family.
