Tito Oliveira is a drummer, producer, and a clinician in Afro-Brazilian rhythms. Born in Bahia-Brazil, Tito started playing drums when he was a child. His inspiration and talent came from his father, a saxophone player and producer in the one of the most respected bands from Bahia, œThe Oliveiras Band. Tito has recorded and toured with Rosa Passos, Joao Donato, Carlinhos Brown, Daniela Mercury, Elba Ramalho, Margareth Menezes, and many others.
As a clinician, his book œAfro-Brazilian Rhythms for Drum Kit is known and valued as material with rare information about the culture of the Afro-Brazilian rhythms.
