Taking influence from her dad, also a drummer, Toni picked up the sticks and began teaching herself from the age of 11. Since then, she has made a name for herself within the Scottish music scene playing for a variety of artists as well as landing a residency, playing late night funk at The Jazz bar, Edinburgh. Toni plays for soul boy sensation Joesef and brings a strong groove and funky style of playing to his gigs when touring and playing festivals.

Most memorable Next-Level Performance
Playing a sold-out hometown show in the Barrowlands, Glasgow. This was the last night of our UK tour with Joesef and it was incredible to have so many friends and family in the audience. The screaming and cheering was so loud in my ears, it almost over powered the band! -
What Drives Your Creativity?
Watching sessions of other drummers playing live such as Ash Soan, Nate Smith, Jost Nikel. -
Why do you choose Vic Firth?
I started off playing Vic Firth over 10 years ago and have tried lots of other stick companies and always reverted back to using Vic Firth. The feel and finish of these sticks feel great in my hands and for me, that's what makes me feel most comfortable when playing!
