Trent is a full-time percussion arranger, designer, and instructor based in Southern California. He is the Front Ensemble Arranger and Sound Designer for Gold Drum and Bugle Corps, and is on staff at Pulse Percussion, Pacific Crest Drum & Bugle Corps, Gahr HS (Cerritos, CA), and Sunny Hills HS (Fullerton, CA). In addition to being one of the go-to percussion writers for Standing O Marching, Trent also works as the lead orchestrator at Box Six under the direction of John Mapes and Ian Grom.
His previous teaching experience includes Carmel HS (Carmel, Indiana), Shadow Drum & Bugle Corps, Los Alamitos HS (Los Alamitos, CA), Pacifica HS (Garden Grove, CA), and La Quinta HS (Westminster, CA).
His marching experience includes the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps (2015-2016), Santa Clara Vanguard (2018), and Pulse Percussion (2016-2020) where he served as section leader for his last 3 years. During this time, he has won a WGI Championship, a DCI Championship and a Fred Sanford High Percussion Award.
