Vladimir Ruzicic was born February 10, 1978, in Valjevo, Serbia. During his early days, Vlada practiced with great Serbian drummers and finished jazz high school. His teacher was the most respected Serbian drum teacher, Miroslav Karlovic. After finishing jazz school, Vlada started to play in Serbian clubs with various musicians. Then he was called to join the band 3K-DUR, who plays in Serbians biggest music TV show (something like American Idol). Vlada was on that TV show for two years (every show was watched about 5 million people!). In 2004, Vlada was called for great world music group Sanja Ilic & Balkanika. With Balkanika, Vlada has traveled through the whole of Europe and played on the biggest festivals. Great shows were the 2004 Olympic Games and also the big concert in Belgrade 2006 (15,000 people, recorded on DVD). Balkanika has toured Mexico, Asia, Europe¦ From 2005 to 2009, Vlada was in the biggest Serbian pop-rock band, Neverne Bebe (Unfaithful Babies). Neverne Bebe are very popular in the Balkans.
As a studio musician, Vlada has recorded over 60 CDs and produced ten. He is listed as studio drummer on many recordings and collaborations. Vlada records for famous Italian guitarist Dario Mollo (Voodoo Hill, with famous Glenn Hughes on vocals), Turkish guitar hero Cenk Eroglu (Winger, Xcarnation), plus many, many songs for most famous singers worldwide. From 2017 he became permanent drummer of one of the biggest rising stars in the whole region, Aleksandra Prijovic, touring through Europe and the USA. 2019 was also very successful with a big tour with rising Serbian star Katarina Grujic.
