  • Most memorable Next-Level Performance

PASIC 1995 - The Oklahoma State Drumline pulled off a performance that I didn't think was possible considering our first full run was only 2 weeks prior to the performance. Their 3rd place finish set the stage for years to come.
  • What Drives Your Creativity?

For my rock drummer with Morgan, the most influential drummers have been Mick Tucker, Mike Portnoy and most of all, Neil Peart. As for all of my 36 years of writing for marching percussion ensemble, I look up to both Tom Aungst and Ralph Hardimon for their timeless writing styles that still influence my work today.
  • Why do you choose Vic Firth?

I have been a loyal Vic Firth percussionist since the very beginning of the artist program in the early 90's. It has always been an equal partnership of customer service and quality merchandise that will keep me part of the Firth family for as long as I can hold a pair of sticks.
