Hey! I'm Eric Slick. I'm a drummer/multi-instrumentalist from Philadelphia, PA. I've been playing drum kit since I was 5 years old. When I was 18, I got the opportunity to play with Adrian Belew and various members of Frank Zappa's band. It was a huge learning experience, and they showed me the ropes when it came to full ensemble performances. After that, I started working with Dr. Dog - which was just as much of a learning experience! I've been with them for 10 years and they've taught me so much about what to play, but most importantly, what not to play. My journey with music has been so vital. I hope I can be creative for the rest of my life.

Most memorable Next-Level Performance
The first time I ever played overseas in Bad Doberan, Germany. It was an out-of-body experience. Maybe it was the jet-lag, or exhaustion, but I felt that I had transcended my own skill level. These moments are few and far between. We just have to understand how lucky we are when they happen. -
