Katfish

Drummer J.J. Garcia has performed over 2,000 live shows since 1990 with a variety of bands including Hap Hazzard, Stone, Judge Jackson, Bo & the Bluesdrivers, Tommy Paris Band, Sugarfuse and is currently with the Outlaw Country/Southern Rock band, Katfish. J.J. has several national tours under his belt that includes collaborations with famed horror director John Carpenter, both on-screen and as part of the soundtracks for his films, including Vampires and Ghost of Mars. Judge Jackson has performed and recorded music that has appeared on a variety of TV, movies and sporting events, including Fox Sports, NASCAR and Super Bowl XLV. With Katfish, the band released a single, “Crazy”, in Fall of 2024 featuring Stevie D (Buckcherry, Josh Todd & the Conflict), plans for a new full length for 2026 are underway.

  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

    Probably my band opening for Cheap Trick on a number of dates years ago, one of my favorite bands! Meeting and chatting with Bun E. Carlos to this day has been an amazing memory and bucket list moment for me.
