Nanny Assis was born in Salvador, Brazil in 1969. drummer, percussionist, singer guitar play, singer-songwriter, he has played with artists such as Janis Siegel, Vinicius Cantauria, Eumir Deodato and Joao Donato among others. He is a teacher of Brazilian jazz, Afro-Brazilian music and other folk and folk sounds of his native land.
He has a great capacity for Brazilian jazz, Bossa Nova, Forro and a series of Afro-Brazilian sounds. Nanny has more than 30 years of career, performed in concerts in several countries, in which they involve the audience with their charisma and contagious presence. In 2011 he received the prestigious Brazilian International Press Award as "Best Singer of the Year".
