  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

I’d have to say, it was recording my solo record. We recorded the whole record in a weekend, live (all musicians in the same room) and many of the songs were recorded in one take. (and there were not “punch-ins” on the whole record) We were LOCKED IN. I wish I could’ve bottled that energy.

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

I love the fact that there’s never an end to this music journey. There’s always more to learn and you can always get better. That drives me!

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

The first pair of sticks I ever bought was a pair of Vic Firth. I’ve tried every other brand and nothing has ever felt as good as a Vic stick. I want the same feeling and consistent quality night after night and I’ve only found that consistency with Vic Firth. That’s why they’ve been my stick of choice for over 25 years.
