I began my interest in drums at 11, playing on pillows and cans of paint trying to emulate my favorite drummers. Big fat LOUD drums and cymbals crashing have always been my drive and this is definitely a huge part of the sound of my band, Ego Kill Talent. I've been doing a lot of studio work for many years with EKT and as freelancer, appearing on soundtracks of tons of movies and TV shows in Brazil, as well as themes for the Olympics and the World Cup.

Most memorable Next-Level Performance
One of the most incredible moments of my life was playing at the ancient Nîmes Arena, in France. The vibe in that place is absolutely inspiring and that energy made me feel like Thor, hammering my drums! -
What Drives Your Creativity?
Inspiration comes from anywhere. A melody or a drum fill can make me come up with something on the drums or guitar. Also learning about other people's careers and their creative process can really add to my tool box. -
Why do you choose Vic Firth?
My day-to-day stick is the 2B. It's thickness and heaviness have an essential role in delivering the power that Ego Kill Talent's music require. Besides that they give me a greater sense of control while playing.
