I have been endorsing Vic Firth since 1999. Originally from Hanover Park Illinois, I achieved a Bachelor degree in music from Northern Illinois University, where I studied jazz and percussion. After college I played in show bands for American Hawaii, Norwegian, Crystal and Holland America cruise lines. I moved to Denver Colorado in 1996 where I play and teach privately. I have written articles and transcriptions for Modern Drummer Magazine, owned a large music school from 2000-2016, and currently teach privately from my home studio in Littleton, Colorado.
