Born and raised in Key Largo, FL, Ryan Raines is a drummer and producer currently based in Los Angeles. Ryan grew up playing in rock bands through high school before studying under Leon Anderson at Florida State University. Ryan also attended the Ravinia Jazz institute studying under Rufus Reid, Billy Childs, and Nathan Davis.
Primarily a producer/songwriter, his musicality behind the boards translates behind the kit. Ryan's biggest drumming influences include Darren King, Marcus Gilmore, Aaron Steele, and Elvin Jones.
