Shannon Larkin started playing the bars at 13 and has never done anything else for income. He signed his first record deal in 1988 with Wrathchild America, joined Ugly Kid Joe in 93, Amen in 98, and Godsmack in 03. Larkin did lots of session work and played live for many diverse bands from Black Sabbath and Ozzy to Candlebox and Glassjaw as well as many others.
