Great stick between 5a and 5b

"This stick is perfect for those looking for something between a 5a and 5b. Medium taper hickory with barrel tip and 16” length. I’ve been looking for a stick like this for a long time. I don’t understand why they haven’t made this stick a long time ago. It’s a very straightforward stick. I really wish Vic Firth would put it in the classic line so it would be more easily available. I can only find it on the firth website and there is no bulk pricing. I’m concerned that this stick won’t be around forever and it should be."

"These are my favorite go-to sticks for everything. There are other models I love, but I always come back to these. Perfectly neutral balance (not too front- or back-heavy) with outstanding rebound, speed, power and clarity. These sticks make it easy to play loudly at mach speed, while conserving energy and without compromising finesse or volume control. Amazing, basically a hybrid 5A-5B with barrel tip."
